A couple of weeks ago, I got invited to the Cadavre Exquis Grand Opening of Atelier and Showroom. As my friend Sharon Boucquez (Haute Gothure) and I are very big admirers of her fantastic corsets and costume creations we couldn't leave it to join this exceptional event! Another reason why we didn't want to miss out this happening is that Elvire Photography was exhibiting some of her works as well! I always been an fan of this superkind talented lady who is so refined in her photographic skills. I mostly enjoy the pastel touch in her images!
It's always an honour to see such two wonderful talented artists work together to create and share their project in such a supportive way! Maya always seemed to have a big attention and care for creating wonderful costumes and corsets from the Edwardian era. This finished in the most exact details as possible. While Elvire knows how to catch that elegant and beautiful spot in a picture.
So we wandered around a bit, saw where all the magic happened and probably got overexcited to see all those amazing corsets and costumes. There was a mini catwalk with two of her last costume creations which she also exhibited at "Bal du Crépuscule", we met old and new faces. I also met one of my guests from La Danza Della Luna, who told me that he knew about the creations of Cadavre Exquis for years but never had the chance to have met her in person. So he was so excited to have finally met her at La Danza Della Luna. I was so delighted to hear about this. He'll sure join us next year.
